Can Sporting Goods Be Repurposed as Curtain Rods?

If your son or daughter is a big baseball fan, add another personal touch to their dugout by mounting a baseball bat over the window as a curtain rod -- either a brand new one or the child's own old bat, if it's not too splintered or dented. The same idea would work with a hockey stick, golf club, or fishing pole (though the skinny end might need some reinforcement) for kids of any age. To complete the theme, you can even hang homemade curtains crafted from sheets with a sports motif or a team logo.
